The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in special session at the <br />Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina on Wednesday, November 19, 1975 at 7:00 p.m.. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> <br /> Absent - Commissioner: Roger G. Hinson <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield called the public hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance to order <br />and stated that each person would be allowed to speak one time for ten minutes. <br /> <br /> The following people spoke in favor of county zoning: <br /> <br /> Carol Cooke Ned Plott <br /> William Robinnette Vivian Whitmire <br /> Dr. R. B. Rankin Joe Davis <br /> Harold Nash Frank Davis <br /> Dick Brown <br /> <br /> The following people who spoke were not in favor of the proposed ordinance for county <br />zoning: <br /> <br /> Dr. Sherman Mayne Paul Moose <br /> Richard Benfield Gilmer Corl <br /> Ray Calloway N.A.
