86 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in special session <br />at the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina on Tuesday, October 18, 1977 at <br />7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> <br /> Absent - Commissioner: Robert A. McClary <br /> <br />County Planner, Jack Alston, and the following members of the Planning Board were <br />also in attendance: Cynthia Bostick, Billy Plummer, Ben Shue and John Cline. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield announced that this was the time and place for a public <br />hearing on the proposed subdivision regulations. Written comments would be <br />accepted by the County Manager until November 10, 1977 at 9:30 a.m. Anyone <br />wishing to speak was asked to observe a ten minute time limit and could only <br />speak once. <br /> <br /> The following people spoke in opposition to the subdivision regulations: <br /> <br />Ty Harward, Phil Lippard, Allan Miles, Gene Holbrooks and C. J. Moss. <br /> <br /> The following people spoke in favor of the subdivision regulations: <br /> <br />Mrs. Chris Amspecher and Mrs. Kathlene Jones. <br /> <br /> The following people were appointed to an advisory committee to assist the <br />Planning Board in the revision of the subdivision regulations: Ty Harward and <br /> <br />Gene Holbrooks, with the Homebuilders Association, Allan Miles and Bernard Dayvault, <br />with the Realtors, and Boyce Jenkins, with Cabarrus Bank and Trust Company. <br /> <br /> The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Cler~to t~e Board <br /> <br /> <br />
