Heavy reliance on the textile industry makes the County <br />susceptible to market changes influenced by the national economy. <br />This situation is not conducive to a stable industrial base. <br /> <br /> The County is actively pursuing a role in which services <br /> <br />to meet the needs of all it's residents will be achieved and a <br />more harmonious and thriving county obtained. Many new programs <br />and facilities have been provided in the last few years and <br />plans for more are underway.
