128 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in <br />special session at the National Guard Armory in Concord, North <br />Carolina on Tuesday, March 21, 1978 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> <br /> Absent - Commissioner: Robert A. McClary <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield welcomed the group, and Commissioner <br />Hammett explained the format for the table-top discussions on the <br />site selection of the proposed Cabarrus County airport. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Stamper of Talbert, Cox, and Assosciates explained the <br />site selection analysis of the eighteen possible sites. Reports <br />were presented by a representative from each group as to the site <br />that they selected.
