Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br /> Cook. Voted for - Commissioners Milloway and Cook. Voted <br /> against - Commissioners Hawfield, McClary, and Hammett. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner McClary and seconded by <br /> Commissioner Hammett, authorization is given to Talbert, <br /> Cox, and Associates to prepare an application to submit <br /> to the Federal Aviation Authority for approval of an airport <br /> to be built in Cabarrus County at site number 5. Ayes - <br /> Commissioners Hawfield, McClary, Hammett, and Cook. Noes - <br /> Commissioner Milloway. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Cook, and carried unanimously, Chairman Hawfield <br /> was authorized to sign a contract with Cabarrus County Board <br /> of Education for the Cabarrus County Recreation Department <br /> to rent a maximum of three activity buses at the rate of <br /> $1.00 per year for transportation during the summer months. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Hawfield, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Hammett and carried unanimously, Mrs. Elaine Moose's request <br /> for a Bike-a-thon for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to be held <br /> <br /> <br />
