178 <br /> <br />$300.00 from Contingency to special appropriations for the <br /> <br />Council on the Status of Women. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner <br />McClary and unanimously carried, the Board authorized Chairman <br />Hawfield to sign the agreement between the North Carolina Depart- <br />ment of Correction and Cabarrus County for reimbursement of male <br />misdemeanants. The County shall accept the sum of $10.00 per day, <br />per inmate,'as the per diem cost of providing food, clothing, <br />personal items, supervision and necessary ordinary medical services <br />to those male misdemeanants committed to the custody of the County <br />serving sentences of 30 to 180 days. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner M~lloway, seconded by Commissioner <br />Cook and unanimously carried, the following road petitions were <br />approved: request for addition - Debbie Circle I, Debbie Circle II, <br />and Jean Street. <br /> <br />Chairman Hawfield stated that the Board of E & R would meet <br />Wednesday, July 26, 1978 at 9:00 A. M. in order to review property. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Boger, County Attorney, advised the Board of the <br /> notice of intent for the Water and Sewer and School Bonds which <br /> must be published by Monday, July 24, 1978. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br /> McClary and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned until July <br /> 20, 1978 at 4:00 P.
