Barnes of the Department of State Treasurer, Retirement and Health Benefits <br />Division, mandating that the County contribute 3.80% to law enforcement officer's <br />retirement fund for all active members in Cabarrus County. <br /> Chairman Cook instructed the County Manager and'the'~County~Attorney to write <br />Mr. Barnes and advise the Retirement and Health Benefits Division that there is no <br />way Cabarrus County can pay these funds this year as it is not included in the budget. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and unani- <br />mously carried, the Board resolved to make no payment on this matter until the next <br />meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and unani- <br />mously carried, the Board adjourned the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
