346 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County met in special session in the <br />County on Monday, August 20, 1979, at 8:00 A. M. <br /> Present - Chairman - Troy R. Cook <br /> Commissioners: Ralph C. Bonds <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> J. Ray Allen <br /> Chairman Cook called the meeting in order for the Board of Commissioners <br />to view the water impoundment sites contained in the preliminary soil and water <br />conservation report. In addition, the Board looked at the new recreation <br />site at Stonewall Jackson Training School. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Bonds the <br />Recreation Director was directed to post the property at Stonewall Jackson <br />Training School recreation site to discourage trespassers from coming onto the <br />property. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Bonds, the <br />Board accepted the recommendation of the Soil and Water Conservation District <br />Supervisors to proceed with the development of a project work plan for Coddle, <br />Cold Water, Dutch Buffalo Creek Watershed and structure 38 and 39 of the Cold <br />Water Creek portion. <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br /> <br />
