369 <br /> <br /> The Board discussed the creation of a governing board composed of five <br />appointed members serving three-year staggered terms to take over the operation <br />of the Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant by the end of the year. <br />The Board decided that the Sewer Authority should consist of two members from <br />the City of Concord, two from Cabarrus County, and one from Cannon Mills. <br />This proposal, will be recommended to the Steering Committee of the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant for their consideration. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to discuss a small tract of land located <br />at the Cabarrus County Landfill. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and <br />unanimously carried, the Board agreed to look into the possible purchase of <br />the particular tract of land that is pie-shaped into the County landfill area <br />to straighten the boundary line on that side of the landfill property. The <br />Board instructed Charles McGinnis, County Manager, to ascertain the name of <br />the owner of this property. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to adjourn. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
