C. <br /> AND <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY, N. C. <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT, Made and entered into this 12th day of May .., 1980 , by <br />and between the Board of Light and Water Commissioners of the City of Concord, <br />N. Co, in its capacity as Lead Agency of the Rocky River Regional Wastewater <br />Treatment System, hereinafter called and referred to as Board, and Cabarrus <br />County, N. C., hereinafter called and referred to as COUNTY. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The BOARD, h'as caused a 201 Facilities Plan to be prepared for the <br />transportation and treatment of wastewater from the said facilities planning <br />area, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY is a participant in the development of the 201 Facilities <br />Program, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY desires to discharge its wastewater into the regional <br />sewage collection system, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD acting only as Lead Agency is willing to accept and treat <br />the wastewater from the COUNTY into the regional sewage collection system for <br />treatment and disposal. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the BOARD and the COUNTY in consideration of the mutual <br />participation of each agency in the preparation of the 201 Facilities Plan <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. COUNTY agrees to discharge all of its wastewater into the interceptor <br />sewers of the regional sewage system and to pay all user charges in connection <br />therewith. <br /> <br /> 2. COUNTY agrees that it will adopt ordinances that will provide that <br />the quality of the wastewater that it discharges into the said regional <br />sanitary sewers shall conform to current EPA and State regulations, the <br /> <br /> <br />
