Pleasant <br />Representative of Harrisburg <br />Mr. Danny Johnson <br />Ms. Gall Linker <br />Representative of Piedmont Mental <br /> Health <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Bonds, seconded by Commissioner Allen and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution and authorized <br />the'Cabarrus County Planning Department to submit an application for a Land <br />Records Management Grant to the North Carolina Department of Administration. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE NORTH <br />CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION <br />QUALIFY THE CABARRUS COUNTY LAND RECORDS <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR ANALOGOUS FUNDINGS <br />UNDER THE NORTH CAROLINA LAND RECORDS <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AS ESTABLISHED BY <br />CHAPTER 1099, SESSIONS LAWS, 1977 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County recognizes a need to create a more efficient <br />standardized land record system with lang range plans for modernization of its <br />land records; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has examined and duly considered <br />this resolution and considers it to be in the public interest and to its benefit <br />to file the request for funds under the North Carolina Land Records Management <br />Program; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, that the County requests that it be accepted <br />for funding for land records projects, and hereby expresses assurances to comply <br />with the Rules and Regulations Governing State Grants for Improvement of Land <br />Records. <br /> <br />This resolution adopted after motion, second and roll call on this date. <br /> <br />Dated: June 9, 1980 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />Frankie F.
