K. Cowan, Recreation Director, to provide <br />to members of the Board information for study regarding the deletion of items <br />from the park specifications to reduce construction costs. <br /> The Board requested the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission to present <br />their recommendation for the elimination of facilities from the park at the next <br />meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Right-of-Way Agreement as received <br />from Duke Power Company granting a relocated right-of-way to Duke Power on <br />County property at the service garage site. <br /> Bids received by the Centralina Council of Governments for food services <br /> at various senior citizen meal sites in Cabarrus County were as follows. <br /> <br />Ketner's <br />Individual Bid 1.555 <br /> <br />Servomation <br /> <br />Individual Bid 1.679 <br /> <br /> Mr. Charles Savage from the Department of Social Services recommended <br />that the Board accept the bid from Servomation in the amount of 1.679 per <br />meal. He reported that Ketner's had not submitted the name of a registered <br />dietician who would be submitting the menus as specified in the bid <br />specifications. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the awarding of the food service contract <br />for the Cabarrus Nutrition Program for the Elderly to Servomation at a cost of <br />1.679 per meal. <br /> <br /> <br />
