594 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board invited Mr. Fred Pilkington, Health Director, <br />to appear at the next Board meeting on September 21, 1981, to state problems <br />concerning the present Jail Health Plan and the need for additional nurses <br />to continue the program. <br /> Commissioner Cook introduced discussion of continuing problems at <br />the County Ambulance Service involving higher pay and improvement of working <br />conditions. No action was taken by the Board regarding this matter. <br /> Mr. Charles D. McGinnis, County Manager, reported that the County had <br />received notification this date of approval of a Small Cities Community <br />Development Block Grant Program in the amount of $500,000.00 for the <br />Sidestown/Shankletown communities. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
