626 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in adjourned <br />session at the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Wednesday, <br />December 9, 1981, at 4:00 P.M. <br /> Present - Chairman: Ralph C. Bonds <br /> Commissioners: J. Harold Nash <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> Chairman Bonds stated that the purpose of the adjourned meeting was <br />to discuss the appointment for Tax Collector. <br /> Mr. Charles D. McG±nnis, County Manager, reported he was writing <br />Mr. Coy Batten of the North Carolina Division of Environmental Management <br />informing him that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners intends to <br />file an application for a Clean Water Bond Grant which would provide <br />25 percent funding of the project cost for water and wastewater facilities <br />if the water and sewer bond issue passes in 1982. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to <br />discuss a personnel matter. ' <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Bonds reported that the BOard had discussed applicants for <br />the Tax Collector appointment and that no action had been taken by the <br />Board. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the <br /> <br /> <br />
