23 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met at 7:00 P.M. <br />on Monday, January 25, 1982, in the Superior Courtroom of the County <br />Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, for a public hearing on the proposed <br />Minimum Housing Code for Cabarrus County. <br /> Present - Chairman: Ralph C. Bonds <br /> Commissioners: J. Harold Nash <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> Members of the Cabarrus County Planning Board present for the public <br />hearing were as follows. <br /> <br />Mr. John Cline <br />Mr. F. A. "Jack" Rankin <br />Mr. Billy Plummer <br /> <br /> Chairman Bonds announced that this was the day and hour scheduled for <br />a Public hearing on the proposed Minimum Housing Code and asked if anyone <br />were present who wished to speak either for or against the proposed ordinance. <br /> Mr~ Billy Stafford of the Silver Hill Community thanked the Board for <br />its work on the PrOposed ordinance and requested the enactment and enforcement <br />of the Minimum Housing Code as soon as possible. <br /> Chairman Bonds closed the public hearing at 7:45 P.M. as there were no <br />other persons wishing to speak. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session for the <br />purpose of discussing a personnel matter and asked that those members of the <br />Cabarrus County Planning Board who wished to do so to join the Board of <br />Commissioners in Executive Session along with the appropriate members of <br />the Planning Department staff. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Bonds stated that a personnel matter was discussed in Executive <br />Session and no action was taken. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
