46 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the plan as proposed by Mr. R. M. <br />Faggart for hiring two employees at the local Farmers Home Administration <br />with these employees to be considered as Cabarrus County employees while they <br />are employed in this capacity and directed that the details be worked out <br />between the association of builders and developers who are contributing the <br />funds and the County Manager. <br /> Results of the salary survey conducted by the Institute of Government <br />will be presented by Dr. Donald Hayman at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 15, <br />1982. <br /> Mr. Charles McGinnis, County Manager, presented a brief report on <br />collection of delinquent taxes since the employment of Mr. Danny Seamone <br />as Delinquent Tax Collector in February. Foreclosure letters have been <br />written for delinquent tax accounts totaling $110,753.84 for 275 parcels <br />of land with delinquent taxes in the amount of $5,143.30 collected during <br />February. It was noted that Mr. Seamone has the discretion to accept partial <br />payments for delinquent taxes in hardship cases. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board repealed "An Ordinance Establishing Licensing <br /> Fees for Secondhand Precious Metal Business" <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br /> unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
