129 <br /> <br /> The Board of commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in <br />adjourned budget session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North <br />Carolina, on Wednesday, June 9, 1982, at 7:00 P.M. to continue review <br />of the 1982-83 budget. <br /> Present - Chairman: Ralph C. Bonds <br /> Commissioners: J. Harold Nash <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne <br />with Commissioners Lentz, Payne, Nash, and Cook voting for and Chairman <br />Bonds voting against, the Board approved a five percent (5%) across-the- <br />board salary increase for all County employees. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board agreed to discuss the acquisition of land' <br />during this budget session. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner. Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to <br />discuss the acquisition of land. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> No action was taken by the Board during the Executive Session. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 1982. <br /> <br />Cle~.k to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
