<br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in regular
<br />session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Monday,
<br />June 21, 1982, at 7:00 P.M.
<br /> Present - Chairman: Ralph C. Bonds
<br /> Commissioners: J. Harold Nash
<br /> Troy R. Cook
<br /> James W. Lentz
<br /> Kenneth F. Payne
<br /> The invocation was given by Reverend James E. Prichett of Friendship
<br />Bible Church.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash and
<br />unanimously carried, the minutes of June 3, June 7, June 9, June 10,
<br />June 14, and June 16, 1982, were approved as written.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Payne and
<br /> unanimously carried, the Board of Equalization and Review for 1982 was
<br /> adjourned.
<br /> Chairman Bonds stated that this was the day and hour scheduled for a
<br /> public hearing on the proposed 1982-83 County budget and asked if anyone
<br /> were present who wished to speak regarding the proposed budget. No one
<br /> spoke either for or against the proposed 1982-83 budget.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash with
<br /> Commissioners Cook, Nash, and Payne and Chairman Bonds voting for and
<br /> Commissioner Lentz voting against, the Board adopted the following Cabarrus
<br /> County Budget Ordinance for the fiscal year 1982-83.

<br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North
<br />Carolina, meeting in session this 21st day of June, 1982, that the following
<br />fund revenues and departmental expenditures together with certain restrictions
<br />and authorizations are adopted.
