292 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met at the <br />County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Tuesday, May 17, 1983, at <br />7:00 P.M. to begin review of the proposed 1983-84 Cabarrus County Budget. <br /> Present - Chairman: J. Harold Nash <br /> Commissioners: Archie Y. Barnhardt <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> The Board scheduled budget sessions for 4:00 P.M. on May 23 and May 24, <br />1983, and for 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 25, 1983. The Board also scheduled <br />a special meeting for 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 26,~1983, to consider the <br />proposed merger of the Cabarrus County and Concord City Schools. <br /> 'No formal action was taken by the Board during the review of the pro- <br />posed budget. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned until 4:00 P.M. on Monday, May 23, 1983. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
