293 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in aRj~ourned <br />session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />May 23, 1983, at 4:00 P.M. to continue review of the proposed 1983-84 Cabarrus <br />County Budget. <br /> Present - Chairman: J. Harold Nash <br /> Commissioners: Archie Y. Barnhardt <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> The Superintendent of the Cabarrus County Schools and the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Education reviewed the requested 1983-84 schools budget. Also <br />addressing the Board regarding funding for the schools were the Superintendent <br />of the Concord City Schools and the Chairman of the Concord Board of <br />Education. <br /> No formal action was taken by the Board during the budget review session. <br /> There being no additional business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned until 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 1983. <br /> <br />-~lerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
