457 UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Nash and unanimously carried, the Board accepted the following deed from Cannon Mills Company for the North Kannapolis Community Park Site. STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF CABARRUS DEED THIS DEED, made this 1 day of December, 1983 by and between CANNON HOLDING CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation, having an office at Kannapolis, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, and CABARRUS COUNTY and ROWAN COUNTY, as tenants-in- common under the provisions of "An Agreement Between Local Units of Government Creating a joint Park Commission to be Known as The Cabarrus- Rowan Park Commission," hereinafter referred to as Grantees, WITNE S SETH : That Grantor does give as an absolute donation, and without any monetary consideration, has given, donated and conveyed, and by these presents does give, donate and convey unto Grantees, the following described property situated in China Grove Township, Rowan County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as follows: Lying and being in China Grove Township, Rowan County, North Carolina, adjoining the property of the C. Brown Pethel Estate, Bellevue Subdivision, Cannon Holding Corporation and Church of God and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron peg on the western right-of-way line of West "A" Street, said point being a corner of Church of God property and running thence with the western edge of West "A" Street South 0° 53' 09" West 737.60 feet to a point in West "A" Street; thence South 0° 52' 42" West 266.91 feet crossing the creek to an existing iron peg in West "A" Street, a corner of the old Bellevue Subdivision; thence with the line of Bellevue Subdivision and Cannon Holding Corporation South 77° 55' 06" West 1336.38 feet to a new iron peg on the eastern right-of-way line on Glenn Avenue; thence with the eastern edge of Glenn Avenue five (5) lines as follows: FIRST: North 12° 26' 18" East 797.12 feet crossing the creek to an iron peg; SECOND: With the curve whose radius is 180.56 feet, an arc distance of 187.54 feet to a new iron peg; THIRD: North 71° 56' 56" East 225.30 feet to a new iron peg; FOURTH: On a curve with a radius of 159.53 feet, an arc distance of 204.45 feet to a new iron peg; FIFTH: North 1° 41" 18" West 182.52 feet to an existing iron peg on the eastern right of way line in Glenn Avenue, a corner of Church of God property. Thence, with the Church of God line South 87° 10' 18" East 712.20 feet to a point of beginning, containing 27.799 acres more or less. SUBJECT, however, to rights-of-way 100 feet in width, 50 feet on either side of two center lines described as follows: FIRST: BEGINNING at a point in the eastern edge of Glenn Avenue, said point being North 12° 26' 18" East 223.02 feet from a new iron peg, corner of Cannon Holding Corporation and runs thence North 79° 58' 59" East 1280.73 feet to a point in West "A" Street, said point being North 0° 52' 42" East 160.86 feet from an existing iron peg, the old corner Bellevue Subdivision, and;
