Mr. Charles D. McGinnis, County Manager, reported that <br />the owner of the property had performed some work on the wall but had <br />failed to complete the necessary repairs. Chairman Lentz requested the <br />County Manager and County Attorney to proceed with necessary action <br />against the owner to have the wall repaired. <br /> At the request of Commissioner Milloway, reports were given pertaining <br />to the planned addition at the Social Services facilities, the construction <br />work at the Animal Shelter, the negotiations regarding the fairgrounds <br />property, the preparation of a first responder plan for the Midland area, <br />the update of the County Personnel Ordinance, and the County water lines. <br /> Commissioner Barnhardt expressed concern that all persons taking <br />garbage to the County Landfill are not required to show their registration <br />card to verify that they are residents of Cabarrus County. <br />Chairman Lentz read a thank you note from Mr. Jeff Auman for the <br />Board's participation in the "Jeff Auman Day" celebrated in July, 1984. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 12:25 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
