228 <br /> <br /> The Board received the proposed Cabarrus County Budget for the fiscal <br />year 1985-86 from Mr. Charles Do McGinnis, County Manager. <br /> Chairman Lentz announced that the first regular meeting in July would <br />be rescheduled from 9:30 A.M. on Monday, July 1, 1985, to 9:30 A.M. on <br />Monday, July 8, 1985. He also stated that the zoning public hearing scheduled <br />for 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 4, 1985, would be changed to 7:00 P.M. on <br />Tuesday, July 9, 1985. Chairman Lentz set the first meeting to consider the <br />proposed 1985-86 Cabarrus County Budget for 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 13, 1985. <br /> Commissioner Payne expressed concern that the North Carolina Department <br />of Transportation had not yet installed the traffic light at the intersection <br />of Pitts School Road and Highway 29. Mr. Charles McGinnis, County Manager, <br />reported that the State had already required the County to move the fire <br />hydrant on Highway 29 for the installation of the traffic light. The <br />Chairman of the Board is to write a letter to the Department of Transportation <br />stating the urgent need for this traffic light and asking that it be <br />installed as quickly as possible. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 13, 1985, to begin review of the <br />proposed 1985-86 Cabarrus County Budget. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
