The special appropriations shall be distributed contingent upon <br /> execution by the provider of a statutory permissible contract for <br /> services. <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Cabarrus County Rescue Squad had <br />been answering ambulance calls for the County Ambulance Service on this <br />date. Mr. Edwin Phillips, Chief of the Allen Volunteer Fire Department, <br />advised the Board that the County Ambulance Service was presently <br />understaffed due to loss of personnel to the City of Concord and the <br />Sheriff's Department. <br /> Mr. Paul Watson, Engineer with HDR Infrastructure, Inc., reviewed <br />the proposal for engineering services for a Comprehensive Sewer System <br />Plan. He stated the sewer feasibility study would include the Upper <br />Rocky River/Coddle Creek Drainage Basin west of Concord/Kannapolis and <br />the Muddy Creek/Rocky River Drainage Basin in the Midland area. <br /> The Board took no action regarding the proposed Comprehensive Sewer <br />System Plan study and indicated that the matter would be discussed <br />further at a meeting in July. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting adjourned at 9:36 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
