498 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne and, <br />unanimously carried, the Board by resolution authorized the County Manager in <br />consultation with the County Engineer to adopt any water conservation measures <br />that may be adopted by the Concord Board of Aldermen as they are the provider <br />of water for the County's own water and sewer district. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the liaison committee consisting of members <br />of the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Aldermen had met recently <br />regarding the proposed Coddle Creek Reservoir project. He further reported <br />that there would be a joint meeting of the Board of Commissioners and the <br />Concord Board of Aldermen at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 23, 1986, at the <br />Concord Municipal Building to discuss the Coddle Creek project. Chairman <br />Lentz also stated that the County Attorney would be preparing a response to <br />the certified letter received from Mayor Bernie Edwards in regards to the <br />installation of water lines in the Old South Subdivision. <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting of the Board of Commissioners at <br />8:35 P.M. until the conclusion of the meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />for the Water and Sewer District. <br /> Chairman Lentz reconvened the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners <br />at 9:00 P.M. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into a joint Executive Session <br />with the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District to discuss <br />property acquisition. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Board of County Commissioners and the <br />Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District had discussed possible <br />land acquisition and a legal matter with the attorney during the Executive <br />Session. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Lentz <br />recessed the meeting until 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 23, 1986, at the <br />Concord Municipal Building. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
