594 <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting at 9:35 P.M. until the conclusion of <br />the meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District of <br />Cabarrus County. <br /> Chairman Lentz reconvened the meeting at 9:45 P.M. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />possible land acquisition. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Board had discussed possible land <br />acquisition during the Executive Session. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to make the purchase of the following <br />three tracts of land in the Coddle Creek Reservoir area at the combined cost <br />of $68,438.00 and pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in each of <br />the respective contracts. <br /> <br />13.5640 acre tract east of Rankin Road north of Macedonia Church Road <br />adjoining Board of Light & Water Commissioners, William A. Faggart and <br />others, known as Parcel 89A of the "Coddle Creek Reservoir" project, <br />less small tract 189.79 X 163.50 x 200.00±, together with right-of-way <br />60 feet in width, 1116.63 in length - William Cline and wife, Betty F. <br />Cline - $50,000.00 <br /> <br />4.1752 acre± on W/S of Alexander Road adjoining T. D. Mesimer, Jr. and <br />and known as Parcel 8781 of the Coddle Creek Reservoir Project - Larry <br />W. Mesimer and wife Barbara F. Mesimer, and Dwight W. Wessler and wife, <br />Janet Wessler - $10,438.00 <br /> <br />2.7528 acre tract on S/S of Mooresville Highway adjoining Cannon Mills <br />Company, Mason Goodman heirs and T. D. Mesimer, Sr., known as Parcel 54A <br />of the Coddle Creek Reservoir project - Everette A. Mesimer and wife, <br />Helen B.
