170 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in recessed <br />session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />August 31, 1987, at 5:00 P.M. <br /> Present - Chairman: James W. Lentz <br /> Commissioners: Kenneth F. Payne <br /> William G. Hamby, Jr. <br /> Martha H. Melvin <br /> R. Giles Moss <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />possible land acquisition for the Coddle Creek Reservoir project. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unani- <br />mously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and unani- <br />mously carried, the Board moved to enter into contracts to purchase the <br />following four tracts of property for the Coddle Creek Reservoir project <br />pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in each of the respective <br />contracts. <br /> <br />Parcel (s) 74J of the Coddle Creek Reservoir Project - <br />Ruby Young - $1,325.00 <br /> <br />Parcel (s) 74M, 74H &/of the Coddle Creek Reservoir Project - <br />Joe Wentz - $7,000.00 <br /> <br />Parcel (s) 4416 of the Coddle Creek Reservoir Project <br />Carol Isom - $2,700.00 <br /> <br />Parcel (s) 6710 of the Coddle Creek Reservoir Project - <br />William H.
