Pursuant to this agreement, the aldermen of the City of Concord will <br />have the right to appoint two members of the Cabarrus Utilities Board, an <br />advisory board for utilities activities and policies in the county, while the <br />commissioners will appoint an additional member from the City of Concord. <br /> <br /> 10. The real property presently titled in the name of the City of <br />Concord or the Board of Light and Water Commissioners, and held for the use of <br />water and sewer utilities, may remain in the name of those entities, although <br />the possession and control of those specific properties shall be leased to <br />Cabarrus County for a nominal fee. At the end of forty (40) years, if the <br />county has paid all sums due under the terms of paragraph 2, the City will <br />deed the real property to the County. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
