401 <br /> <br />Manager outlining the sharing of the cost of the Kannapolis Library by the <br />City and the County and to ask that the City pay ten percent (10%) of the <br />total $303,611.26 Kannapolis Library budget for 1988-89. <br /> Mr. Blair D. Bennett, Finance Director, reported that school officials <br />had indicated to him that $20 million in school bonds would need to be issued <br />beginning in March, 1989. He advised the Board that an approximate eight <br />cents (8¢) tax would be needed over a period of two years for this issuance <br />of bonds. <br /> Mr. Blair D. Bennett, Finance Director, reported that representatives of <br />the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College had asked for the Board's assistance <br />regarding a roof problem at the Corban Center and the need for a new furnace <br />at the Carver Center. No action was taken by the Board in this matter. <br /> Chairman Lentz announced that regular meeting of the Board scheduled for <br />4:00 P.M. on June 13, 1988, would be held at the General Services Administra- <br />tion Building instead of the Courthouse. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />a personnel matter. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Board had discussed a personnel matter <br />during the Executive Session. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
