The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in <br />recessed session at the Stonewall Jackson School in Concord, North <br />Carolina on Monday, February 13, 1989, at 4:00 P.M. <br /> Present - Chairman: James W. Lentz <br /> Commissioners: R. Giles Moss <br /> William G. Hamby, Jr. <br /> Martha H. Melvin <br /> Billy J. Simmons, Jr. <br /> The Board toured the buildings proposed for renovation by the <br />County to house the Senior Citizens Center and to provide offices for <br />non-profit organizations. <br /> The Board had dinner at the Western Sizzlin Steakhouse on Cabarrus <br />Avenue. <br /> Commissioner Simmons left the meeting at 5:30 P.M. <br /> There was general discussion during the tour and dinner.
