Ruffin, County Manager, reported that County offices were <br />.closed on Friday, September 22, 1989, due to the adverse weather conditions <br />created by Hurricane Hugo. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Simmons, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with <br />Commissioners Simmons, Hamby, and Moss and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />agreed to pay County employees for Friday, September 22, 1989. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Chairman Lentz with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Moss, and Simmons and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />agreed to waive the $1.50 late charge for the month of September for any water <br />and sewer customers deemed delinquent. <br /> The Board instructed Commissioner Moss and Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., <br />County Attorney, to prepare information for the October 2, 1989 meeting relative <br />to the declaration of structures located on eight Coddle Creek properties as <br />surplus property and to the conditions for the sale of these structures by sealed <br />bids. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
