June 20, 2015 (Regular Meeting) Page 2811 <br />Vice Chairman Honeycutt announced the Town of Harrisburg July 4th festival <br />will be June 30th through July 21 11 '. <br />(I -6) Request for Applications for County Boards /Committees <br />Applications are being accepted for the following County <br />Boards /Committees: <br />• Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee - 4 Vacant Positions <br />• Cabarrus Planning and Zoning Commission - 3 Terns Expiring Soon <br />• Concord Planning and Zoning Commission (ETJ) - 1 Vacant Position <br />• Human Services Advisory Board - 1 Vacant Position <br />• Juvenile Crime Prevention Council -2 Vacant Positions (Student under <br />1 S) <br />• Library Board of Trustees - 1 Terra Expiring Soon (Midland) <br />• Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee - 7 Vacant Positions <br />• Region F Aging Advisory Committee - 2 Terms Expiring Soon <br />• Transportation Advisory Board - 2 Vacant Positions <br />• Youth Commission - 3 Terms Expiring Soon and 4 Vacant Positions <br />Chairman Morris reviewed the aforementioned list and urged citizens to <br />consider participating on a Board or Committee. <br />(J) GENERAL COME BY BOARD MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Mynatt announced the Cabarrus County Education Foundation <br />fundraiser at the Intimidator's Stadium on June 25th. <br />Chairman Morris announced Cabarrus County received 13th place in a regional <br />healthiest employer ranking. He added that Pam Dubois received the Healthiest <br />CEO Award. <br />(K) WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />None. <br />(L) CLOSED SESSION <br />(L -1) Closed Session - Personnel and Legal Matters <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss <br />matters relating to personnel and legal matters as authorized by NCGS 143- <br />318.11 (a)(3) and (6). <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of closed session. <br />(M) ADJOURN <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:16 p.m. <br />Megan mit, Clerk to the Board <br />
