She advised the grant will provide improved library services to Spanish - -speaking residents through outreach, enhanced collections, access to bilingual programs and technology, and a part --time Bilingual Library Assistant position (20 hours per week). UPON MOTION of Commissioner Poole, seconded by Commissioner Shue and unanimously carried, the Board accepted grant funds, approved the Bilingual Library Assistant position and approved the related budget revision. He stated the grant request will include funding for the following programs: the Elderly and Disabled Transportation Assistance Program (EDTAP) - $98,650.00; the Employment Transportation Assistance Program (EMPL) - $41,683.00; and the Rural General Public (RGP) Program - $68,524.00. He advised a public hearing is not required for this grant. He also responded to questions from the Board.
