October 17, 2016 (Regular Meeting) Page 2935 <br />AMEND Chapter S, #30 Shooting Range with Outdoor Target Practice to ADD standard <br />letter "o" which would read: Must Comply with Chapter 46 -2, Use of Firearms, of <br />the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances <br />AMEND Chapter 8, #36 Wireless Telecommunications Services to ADD the following <br />to the definition section: <br />REPEATER -A small receiver /relay transmitter of relatively low power output <br />designed to provide service to areas that are not able to receive adequate <br />coverage directly from a base or primary station. <br />AMEND the first bullet point of Section 5 Aesthetics to read: <br />Towers shall either maintain a galvanized steel finish or be painted a neutral <br />color to blend in with the surrounding area and to reduce visual obtrusiveness. <br />AMEND Section 5 Permit Requirements to read: <br />No wireless telecommunications tower, antennae, or substantial modification <br />shall be erected or established unless and until a Zoning Clearance Permit has <br />been issued pursuant to this Ordinance. <br />• A Stealth Antenna or Repeater which does not exceed sixty -five (65) feet <br />in height � are permitted as of right and doe-• not require a conditional <br />use permit. <br />• Repeaters shall either maintain a galvanized steel finish or be painted <br />a neutral color to blend in with the surrounding area and /or structure <br />and to reduce visual obtrusiveness. Where a pole frame is used, the frame <br />shall be similar and compatible with existing light poles and fixtures in <br />the area. <br />a. Where repeaters are proposed to be located in a public or private <br />right -of -way, encroachment agreements shall be submitted as part of <br />the site plan review application package. <br />RENUMBER AND REVISE the Table of Contents and page numbers in the Cabarrus <br />County Zoning Ordinance to correspond to the text changes. <br />Adopted this 17C� day of October, 2CI6 by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />/s/ Stephen M. E Smit, Clerk to the Board <br />Ordinance No. 2016 -47 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />TEXT2016 -00007 <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br />AMEND Chapter 3 to add Swimming Pool, Accessory to Single Family Residential to <br />all Residential districts as a permitted based on standards use. <br />AMEND CHAPTER 3 PERMITTED USE TABLE to add Swimming Pool, Accessory to Single <br />Family Residential to all Residential districts as a permitted based on <br />standards use and to add the square footage to Retail, Neighborhood Market. <br />AMEND CHAPTER 7 AS FOLLOWS: <br />DELETE Chapter 7 and REPLACE with new Chapter 7. <br />BE IT ALSO ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended <br />as follows: <br />RENUMBER AND REVISE the Table of Contents and page numbers in the Cabarrus <br />County Zoning Crdinance to correspond to the text changes. <br />Adopted this 17th day of October, 2016 by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />/s/ Stephen M.
