October 17, 2016 (Regular Meeting) Page 2935 AMEND Chapter S, #30 Shooting Range with Outdoor Target Practice to ADD standard letter "o" which would read: Must Comply with Chapter 46 -2, Use of Firearms, of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances AMEND Chapter 8, #36 Wireless Telecommunications Services to ADD the following to the definition section: REPEATER -A small receiver /relay transmitter of relatively low power output designed to provide service to areas that are not able to receive adequate coverage directly from a base or primary station. AMEND the first bullet point of Section 5 Aesthetics to read: Towers shall either maintain a galvanized steel finish or be painted a neutral color to blend in with the surrounding area and to reduce visual obtrusiveness. AMEND Section 5 Permit Requirements to read: No wireless telecommunications tower, antennae, or substantial modification shall be erected or established unless and until a Zoning Clearance Permit has been issued pursuant to this Ordinance. • A Stealth Antenna or Repeater which does not exceed sixty -five (65) feet in height � are permitted as of right and doe-• not require a conditional use permit. • Repeaters shall either maintain a galvanized steel finish or be painted a neutral color to blend in with the surrounding area and /or structure and to reduce visual obtrusiveness. Where a pole frame is used, the frame shall be similar and compatible with existing light poles and fixtures in the area. a. Where repeaters are proposed to be located in a public or private right -of -way, encroachment agreements shall be submitted as part of the site plan review application package. RENUMBER AND REVISE the Table of Contents and page numbers in the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance to correspond to the text changes. E Smit, Clerk to the Board Ordinance No. 2016 -47 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT2016 -00007 BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: AMEND Chapter 3 to add Swimming Pool, Accessory to Single Family Residential to all Residential districts as a permitted based on standards use. AMEND CHAPTER 3 PERMITTED USE TABLE to add Swimming Pool, Accessory to Single Family Residential to all Residential districts as a permitted based on standards use and to add the square footage to Retail, Neighborhood Market. AMEND CHAPTER 7 AS FOLLOWS: DELETE Chapter 7 and REPLACE with new Chapter 7. BE IT ALSO ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: RENUMBER AND REVISE the Table of Contents and page numbers in the Cabarrus County Zoning Crdinance to correspond to the text changes.
