February 20, 2017 (Regular Meeting) Page 3036 <br /> justification for the refunds to the taxpayers in accordance with N.C.G.S. 105- <br /> 381. <br /> Note: Due to the transition of motor vehicles onto the new North Carolina <br /> Vehicle Tax System (NCVTS) , motor vehicle-related refunds and releases will <br /> begin to be displayed on the new report generated by NCVTS. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board approved the January 2017 Refund-Release <br /> report as submitted, including the NCVTS Refund report, and granted authority <br /> to the Tax Collector to process the refunds and releases. Eddie Mitchum, Tax Collector of Cabarrus County <br /> You are hereby authorized, empowered and commanded to advertise tax liens on <br /> real property for failure to pay 2016 property taxes. She <br /> advised Project G2 (Alevo and its subsidiaries) proposes to invest <br /> $251, 500, 000.00 in equipment at its current manufacturing facility located in <br /> Concord, and create 202 jobs with a total taxable investment of $226, 350.000. 00 <br /> for the project. <br />
