September 7, 2017 (Cabarrus Forum) Page 3294 <br /> What Tools Should we add to our Toolbox? <br /> Marcella Beam, Cabarrus Health Alliance encouraged the attendees to form <br /> breakout groups sessions to brain storm new solutions and strategies to address <br /> the opioid issue. <br /> Wrap-up <br /> Marcella Beam, Cabarrus Health Alliance ended the breakout groups. She <br /> announced that the notes from the breakout groups would be compiled together as <br /> well as the notes from the speakers to drive solutions. Future events in local <br /> communities, e.g. Hickory Ridge High School event, would be held to continue <br /> the discussion. Ms. Beam challenged everyone to continue the conversation for <br /> change. <br /> Concluding Remarks <br /> Chairman Morris thanked Ms. Beam for her wonderful job as the moderator. <br /> He expressed how informative and enlightening the information was shared by the <br /> speakers. Chairman Morris encouraged everyone to share the information with <br /> others to increase public awareness, and thanked them for their attendance. He <br /> acknowledged the other city and town officials for an opportunity to adjourn <br /> independently as a governing body if needed. <br /> Adjourn <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt and <br /> unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 7:59 p.m. <br /> ri Lea Hugie, Cle o the Board <br />
