The County's policy is to keep three years of ambulance receivables <br /> plus the current year's receivables on the General Ledger. A summary of the proposed changes has <br /> been provided, and were reviewed at the work session, along with a description <br /> of the review process utilized. <br /> UPON MOTION by Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board adopted the recommended Personnel Ordinance <br /> changes. <br /> (F-8) Sheriff' s Office - Cabarrus County Animal Shelter Adoption Event <br /> The Cabarrus County Animal Shelter has received a $2,500 grant for an <br /> animal adoption event. Grant funding is from the American Society for the <br /> Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (ASPCA) through the Subaru Share the Love <br /> Partnership. The grant will cover the adoption fee for 25 animals from the <br /> shelter. This event is planned for mid-October 2017. <br /> UPON MOTION by Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board accepted the grant and waived the adoption fees <br /> on the 25 animals involved in the event. <br /> UPON MOTION by Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board authorized the Finance Director to prepare the <br /> appropriate budget amendment. <br /> Date: 9/18/2017 Amount: $500 <br /> Dept.
