April 13, 2015 (Special Meeting) <br />Page 2349 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met for a special <br />meeting in the Multipurpose Room at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center in <br />Concord, North Carolina on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 4 :00 p.m. The purpose of <br />this meeting was to allow the Board to go into closed session to discuss a <br />matter(s) of economic development as authorized by NCGS 143- 318.11(a)(4). <br />Present - Chairman: Stephen M. Morris <br />Vice Chairman: Elizabeth F. Poole <br />Commissioners: Diane R. Honeycutt <br />Lynn W. Shue <br />Absent - Commissioner: Grace M. Mynatt <br />Also present were Mike Downs, County Manager; Richard M. Koch, County <br />Attorney; and Megan Smit, Clerk to the Board. <br />Call to Order <br />Chairman Morris called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. <br />Closed Session <br />Closed Session - Economic Development <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss a <br />matter(s) related to economic development as authorized by NCCS 143 - <br />318.11(a)(4). <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of closed session. <br />Adj ourn <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Shue, and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 5:33 p.m. <br />V <br />Megan Smit, C erk to the Board <br />
