�june 1, 2015 (Work Session) Page 2429 Count Manager - Arena Food and Beverag Services Agreement Jonathan Marshall, Deputy County Manager, advised the Food and Beverage Services Agreement for the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center expires at the end of June. The agreement is between SMG and SMG Food and Beverage and the County approves the agreement between those entities. Mike Downs, County Manager, advised the County approves the Agreement because the County pays SMG fees as well as incentives. Human Services - Transportation - FY 2014 5307 Concord UZA (Urbanized Area) Allocation Split Ben Rose, Human Services Director, advised of funds available to the County from the Federal 5307 grant that will help fund maintenance expenses. He stated the resolution is needed to agree to the funding split and to authorize staff to pursue these funds. Bob Bushey, Transportation Manager, advised the FY 2014 Federal Transit Administration (FTA) apportionment tables through the Federal 5307 funding listed $1,792,895.00 for the Concord, North Carolina Urbanized Area (UZA) . Cabarrus County and the City of Concord have agreed to a split of these funds. He stated the department is seeking approval to apply and receive these funds to assist with operating expenses for the Department. A discussion ensued with Mr. Rose and Mr. Bushey responding to questions from the Board.
