October 5, 2015 (Work Session) Page 2561 <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Board members: Aaron Ritchie, James Litaker, <br />Steve Wise, Andrew Deal, Richard Price, Mary Blakeney, Shannon Frye, Chris <br />Pinto, Andrew Graham, and Adam Dagenhart. The following staff members were <br />also present: Kelly Sifford, Planning and Development Director; Susan <br />Fearrington, Finance Director; Lynn Roberts, Clerk to the Planning and Zoning <br />Board; and Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager. Richard Koch was in <br />attendance as attorney to both the Board of Commissioners and the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented an overview of the <br />Planning and Zoning process. Items addressed included: the working <br />relationship between the Board of Commissioners and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission; the process for rezoning and conditional uses; current trends and <br />pressures; small area plans; text amendments; land use plans; regulatory <br />reform; home occupations; and rural home occupations. <br />Following the presentation, there was lengthy general discussion <br />between the two boards. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 8: 08 p.m. <br />Megan bmi ', Clerk to the Board <br />
