January 25, 2014 (Board Retreat) <br />Page 1900 <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Measmer, seconded by Commissioner Morris <br />and unanimously carried, the Board amended the Agenda to add scheduling a <br />public hearing for A.C.E. Academy Regarding the Issuance of Charter School <br />Revenue Bonds to the Agenda. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Measmer, seconded by Vice Chairman Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board scheduled a public hearing for A.C.E. <br />Academy Regarding the Issuance of Charter School Revenue Bonds on February <br />17, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard. <br />Closed Session <br />Chairman Poole advised a brief closed session is needed and requested <br />another amendment to the Agenda. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Measmer, seconded by Vice Chairman Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board amended the Agenda to include a closed <br />session. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Measmer, seconded by Vice Chairman Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to consult <br />with the County Attorney concerning threatened or pending litigation as <br />authorized by NCGS 143- 318.11(a)(3). <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner <br />©esterreich and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of closed <br />session. <br />Recess of Meeting <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Measmer, seconded by Vice Chairman Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board recessed the meeting at 4:07 p.m. until <br />4:00 p.m. on January 30, 2014 in the Multipurpose Room. <br />Megan mit, erk to the Board <br />
