During discussion, Senator Hartsell and <br />Representatives Ford, Johnson and Pittman addressed tax reform and economic <br />growth. <br />Human Services — Discussion of Food and Nutritional Categorical Eligibility <br />Ben Rose, Human Services Director, presented information relating to <br />the challenges of the NC FAST system implementation. <br />The topic of Food and Nutritional Categorical Eligibility was also <br />generally discussed. <br />Commissioner Oesterreich expressed support for categorical eligibility <br />and discussed the impact it would have on the Department of Human Services. <br />A brief discussion followed.
