December I, 2014 (Swearing -in Ceremony & Organizational Meeting) Page 2209 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met for an <br />Organizational Meeting in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Cabarrus <br />County Governmental Center in Concord, North Carolina on Monday, December 1, <br />2014, at 6:00 p.m. <br />Present - Chairman: Elizabeth F. Poole <br />Commissioners: Stephen M. Morris <br />Diane R. Honeycutt <br />Grace M. Mynatt <br />Lynn W. Shue <br />Also present were Mike Downs, County Manager; Richard M. Koch, County <br />Attorney; Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager and Megan Smit, Clerk to the <br />Board. <br />Reception for Elected Officials <br />Prior to the organizational meeting, a reception for incoming elected <br />officials and a public swearing -in ceremony were held in the Rotunda of the <br />Governmental Center at 5:00 p.m. <br />Chairman Poole welcomed those in attendance. She also acknowledged the <br />services provided by Executive Chef Chad Muller and staff from the Cabarrus <br />Arena & Events Center. <br />Administration of Oath to Office: Soil and Water Conservation District <br />Supervisors <br />The Honorable Christy E. Wilhelm, District Court Judge, administered the <br />following Oath of Office to Jeff N. Goforth, do solemnly swear that I will support and maintain <br />the Constitution and laws of the United States, and the Constitution and laws <br />of North Carolina not inconsistent therewith, and that 1 will faithfully <br />discharge the duties of my office as Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation <br />District Supervisor, so help me God. <br />I, Jeff N.
