July 15, 2013 (Regular Meeting) <br />None. <br />(F) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Page 1616 <br />(F -1) BOC - Designation of Voting Delegate for NCACC 106th Annual Conference <br />The North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) is <br />requesting each Board of County Commissioners designate a commissioner or <br />other elected official as a voting delegate for the NCACC 106th Annual <br />Conference, to be held on August 22 -25, 2013, in Guilford County. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman White, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved Commissioner Measmer as the <br />voting delegate for the NCACC Annual Conference to be held August 22 -25, 2013 <br />in Guilford County. <br />(F -2) County Manager - Adjustment to Salary of New Boated of Elections <br />Director <br />On May 6, 2013, the salary of the new Board of Elections Director was <br />discussed by the Board for approval per NCGS 163 -65 (c) in the amount of <br />$56,681.81. On May 20, 2013, the Board approved the salary for this <br />position. The FY14 budget was adopted with a cost -of- living increase which <br />updated the salary tables and the exact salary of $56,681.81 no longer <br />exists. The closest annual salary is $56,701.05, which is a difference of <br />$19.24 from the previously approved amount. Based on administrative <br />processes, the county payroll system is required to be on a step and grade <br />and $56,701.05 is the closest salary in line with the salary approved by the <br />Board. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman White, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the revised salary of the Board <br />of Elections Director. <br />(F -3) Finance - Capital Project Ordinance Updates for the Construction and <br />Renovation Fund and Small Projects Fund - Budget Amendments <br />The Construction and Renovation Fund and Small Projects Fund are being <br />adjusted to reflect the FY14 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) approved by the <br />Board of Commissioners on June 17, 2013. The FY14 Plan has been enclosed for <br />your review. All of the projects are being funded through the General Fund <br />and the Capital Reserve Fund. The updated Project Ordinances and Budget <br />Amendments are included for your approval. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman White, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the revised Capital Project <br />Ordinances for the Construction and Renovation Fund and Small Projects Fund <br />and the related budget amendments. <br />Date: 7/l/2013 Amount: $2, 450, 640 <br />Dept.
