Compass CoPilot automatically <br />syncs the new information with the agency's Compass@ system back <br />at the office. <br />Cost Breakdown for Contract Price <br />Hardware and Software ...................$38,000.00 <br />First Year Support and TPOC Training .....$7,600.00 <br />Northwoods Professional Services .......$135,240.00 <br />Totals by Contract Cost ................$180,840.00 <br />Mr. Shanley and Mr. Heath responded to a variety of questions from the <br />Planning and Development - 2012 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Rehab Grant <br />Closeout - Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />Kelly Sifford, Planning and Development Director, reported a public <br />hearing is required as part of the process to close out the 2010 -2012 CDBG <br />Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation program. She advised a total cost of <br />$255,290.00 was expended to complete five urgent repairs and four full <br />rehabilitations. Eight households were categorized as elderly, one as <br />disabled; five households were categorized as less than 30 percent median <br />household income and four as 30 to 50 percent of the median income. She also <br />responded to questions from the Board. <br />Sheriff - Approval of the Trade -in /Surplus of Duty Weapons <br />Chief Deputy Paul Hunt presented the following information relating to a <br />request for approval of the trade -in /surplus of duty weapons and responded to <br />questions from the Board: <br />The Sheriff's Office is requesting to trade -in 140 older Sig Sauer <br />P226 .40 caliber handguns in exchange for brand new Sig Sauer P226 <br />.40 caliber handguns. Lawmen's, a state contract vendor for <br />firearms, has extended this trade -in offer to the Cabarrus County <br />Sheriff's Office. Lawmen's is offering to give the Sheriff's <br />Office $400.00 per handgun, with the new handgun costing $199.99. <br />The regular cost of a new handgun is $599.99.
