For the last time, help me solve this problem or I <br />will bring it into the court and into the newspapers and into television. <br />Thank you. <br />With there being no one else to address the Board, Chairman Poole closed <br />that portion of the meeting. <br />(E) OLD BUSINESS <br />(E -1) Human Services - NC FAST Update <br />Ben Rose, Human Service Director and Trish Baker, Economic Services <br />Program Administrator, presented an update on the processing of food stamp <br />applications within the Economic Services Division as the conversion to the NC <br />FAST system continues. Implementation of Medicaid to NC FAST was also <br />addressed. <br />A discussion ensued. During discussion, Mr. Rose and Ms. Baker <br />responded to questions from the Board. Diane Gridley, Income Maintenance <br />Program Manager, was also in attendance. No action was taken. <br />(F) CONSENT AGENDA <br />(F -1) Active Living and Parks - 2014 Fees and Charges Policy <br />Each year the Active Living and Parks (ALP) Department reviews the Fees <br />and Charges Policy, presents to the ALP's Commission and the Senior Centers <br />Council, and recommends changes to the Board of Commissioners. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner Measmer <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Active Living and Parks 2014 <br />Fees and Charges Policy. The Fees and Charges Policy, as adopted by the <br />Board, is on file in the County Manager's Office and is hereby included by <br />reference as part of the minutes. <br />(F -2) BOC - Commissioner Appointments for 2014 <br />The following chart outlines Commissioner appointments to various boards <br />and committees and appointments as liaisons to the surrounding municipalities <br />for 2014. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner Measmer <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Commissioner appointments for <br />2014 as set forth in the Agenda.
