(passing an iron stake near bank of the road at 398.0 feet) 428.0 <br />feet to an iron stake in the center of the county road; thence with <br />said road N. 32 -04 E. 145.3 feet to the beginning. <br />LESS AND EXCEPTING from the parcels described above the property conveyed to <br />the Department of Transportation by deed recorded in Book 1224 at Page 54, <br />Cabarrus County Registry. <br />The Advertisement for Sealed Bids was posted on the County's website <br />( www.cabarruscounty.us ) on June 1, 2012 in accordance with Article 2, <br />Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of Electronic Means to Provide Public <br />Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances. <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR SEALED BIDS <br />SALE OF COUNTY PROPERTY <br />(Old Bethel School Property) <br />The Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County has authorized the sale by <br />sealed bid of the parcels of real estate (the "Property ") attached as Exhibit <br />A. <br />The County will accept sealed bids for the Property until noon, Friday, <br />June 29, 2012, at the office of Mike Downs, County Manager, Second Floor, <br />Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, Concord, North Carolina. <br />At noon on June 29, 2012, all bids received shall be opened in public and the <br />amount of each bid announced and recorded. The record of bids shall be <br />reported to the Board of Commissioners at their work session meeting on Monday, <br />July 2, 2012. <br />The Board of Commissioners will determine the highest responsible bidder <br />for the Property and may award the bid by its regular meeting on Monday, July <br />
