BOARD MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Carruth announced the retirement of Mike Taylor, the <br />Attorney for Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare and expressed appreciation for <br />his service. <br />Vice Chairman Poole addressed the recent visit of citizens form <br />Killarney, Ireland to the area. She noted Killarney is Concord's "Sister <br />City" and expressed support for the program. <br />Chairman White announced the Cabarrus EMS (Emergency Medical Services) <br />team comprised of Mark Kirk and Jeff Penninger, were declared state champions <br />in the N.C. Department of EMS State Paramedic Competition. He also announced <br />the team comprised of Esther Adkins and Will Cannon won the "Carolina's <br />Paramedic Competition" in Cumberland County.
