That the County Attorney is authorized to determine if the proposed amendment for each Consent Agreement is in compliance with the provisions of the APFO and this resolution and shall draft the amendment documents. 4. That the amendment to each Consent Agreement shall provide that the amendment will expire on September 30, 2010 unless the Board by resolution extends the term of the amendment and that upon expiration, the original provisions of the Consent Agreement shall again constitute the contract between the parties. 5. That the amendment shall apply only to lots platted after the effective date of this Resolution, which is March 15, 2010. 6. That the Cabarrus County Commerce Department shall send a copy of this resolution to each affected builder or developer by regular mail at the address listed in the Consent Agreement for such builder or developer. WHEREAS, the expeditious administration of this extension would be best served by the Board delegating to the County Manager and the County Attorney the preparation and execution of these amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS hereby resolves the following: 1. That all the executory provisions (Nos. 1 -5) of Resolution 2010- 10 shall be extended from September 30, 2010 until March 30, 2011, except that the Cabarrus County Commerce Department shall not be required to send a copy of this extension resolution to each affected builder or developer as previously required by No. 6. website. 2. Kelly Sifford, Community Development Manager, reported the CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) Scattered Site Program is a full housing rehabilitation program designed for low income families. She further reported the homes of approximately five or six families will be fully rehabilitated by this program in the next cycle and the homes of approximately five to seven families may receive one repair item under the "urgent repair" section of this grant. She encouraged interested citizens to contact her at 704 - 920 -2142. Chairman White opened the public hearing at 6:54 p.m. The Public Hearing Notice was published on October 6 and 8, 2010 in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE. The Public Hearing Notice was also posted on the County's website ( www. cabarrus county. us ) on September 30, 2010 in accordance with Article 2, Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of Electronic Means to Provide Public Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances. There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman White closed the public hearing. No further action was required of the Board. (G -2) EDC - Economic Development Grant Request for Distribution Technologies, Inc. and Public Hearing - 6:30 P.M. Ryan McDaniels, Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (EDC), presented the following information related to a request for an Economic Development Grant for Distribution Technologies, Inc.: Distribution
