December 6, 2010 (Work Session) <br />Page 232 <br />Commissioner Carruth advised the Animal Protection and Preservation <br />Advisory Committee (APPAC) is scheduled to meet on Monday, December 13 He <br />also addressed the concept of contracting with the Cabarrus Humane Society <br />for operation of the animal shelter thereby freeing up Animal Control <br />Officers to address enforcement and cruelty issues.
